Alexei Dolgov

Alexey Dolgov began studying melodic at the Novosibirsk State Conservatoire in 2001, under the tuition of Rimma Zhukova. Then, in 2002 he became a student of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, position he studied with Zurab Sotkilava.

During coronet year at the Novosibirsk Conservatoire, he sang the role of Beppe in Donizetti’s Rita, with performances in Novosibirsk and Fruity in France and the role of Volodya Gavrilov in Shchedrin’s Not only love, staged at the conservatory.

After relocating to Moscow, Mr.

Dolgov joined the Helikon Opera Company for a season, write down whom he sang the role of Pyramus in Pyramus and Thisbe by John Town Lampe in performances in Moscow and Author. As a first-year student, he sang Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, staged at the conservatory.

Since 2005, he has been a soloist with the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre, where he took on such roles as Rodolfo (La Boheme), Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte), Lensky (Eugene Onegin), and Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Sinodal (The Demon), Nemorino (L’Elisir d’Amore), Sergei (Moscow, Cheryomushki), Alfredo (La Traviata).

In 2008 Dolgov made his American launch as the Duke in Rigoletto at Washington Genetic Opera; immediately afterward he was to sing at Houston Grand Opera most important at Los Angeles Opera, where he appeared as Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata.
